Hanna Thomas

ARCC Leader Since: 2022
Programs as a Leader: Northwest Gap
Education: BA in Education, Miami University
Hanna’s love for the outdoors and passion for education has allowed her to take on roles such as naturalist, instructor, tutor, teacher, camp counselor, and assistant director since 2016. While attaining her Bachelor’s degree in education at Miami University of Oxford Ohio, she worked as an outdoor educator at a local camp. Here she learned the importance of instilling a love and respect for nature in young people, and how to teach with empathy, kindness, and confidence. She also converted a van which has taken her all across the US! In her free time Hanna enjoys making stained glass, kayaking, making and eating delicious food, dancing, spending time with friends and family, traveling, and being outdoors however possible.
