When I overcame my fear of swimming at night by jumping off the catamaran into the sea in complete darkness on the Costa Rica Service trip two summers ago.
During my Africa Service trip this past summer, I worked with families and children who subsist on very little. When I got home, I was interested in finding out what communities in Toronto also survive with less than others and how I can help them. As a result, I will be raising funds for a local food bank, through selling a t-shirt I designed. I’ve kept in touch with so many great people from my trip, and we’ve all had a great impact on each other.
I advise students who are independent and ready to try new things to go on ARCC trip. Each trip is equally amazing and challenging!
