Field Instructor Position

These trips focus on an environmental education curriculum composed of natural and cultural history, leadership, local environmental issues, and positive group dynamics. The itineraries include a mixture of hiking, visits to historical sites, and other outdoor activities such as swimming, rock climbing, and horseback riding. These trips are environmental education programs.

Requirements

  • Strong teaching backgrounds.
  • Academic education in the natural sciences.
  • Experience facilitating groups and working with youth (specifically 5th & 6th graders).
  • The mental and physical ability to be able to guide participants, through educational based traveling programs ranging 14 to 17 days in duration (twenty-four hours a day).
  • Professional, fun, and enthusiastic individuals who are flexible and creative.
